How to Get Rid of Summer Spiders in Ventura
Summer is here and while you and your family are thinking of cooling down at the beach, flying insects are escalating their breeding pattern, a thriving place for spiders. Spiders, are not only terrifying with their eight legs, fast crawls, and beady eyes, but they are a nuisance in your home. With their numbers increasing that causes a higher chance for your home to have more than one within the house and usually where theres one, more are lurking in the dark corners of your home. Although a spiders bite is not usually poisonous, it can be irritating and cause a small reaction in some.
So before you leave on your summer get-a-away with the kids try making your home a less ideal place for spiders.
1. Vacuum small cracks and crevices near doorways, window casings, basement walls, piles of laundry and storage boxes. Spiders are mostly found tin these cluttered places. Try removing any existing spider webs.
2. Keep pet food covered and don’t leave out any food. Attracting any insect can have a spider diving in for a meal. Cleaning places like the garage and attic can make for a less appealing place for spiders.
3. Remove all clutter around the outside of your house, cut back branches or brushes that are touching the house. this can be used as a bridge for spiders wanting a way in. Spiders make homes in places like wood piles and although you need that wood for your summer bbqs it would we best to keep it away from the outside of your home.
